Job Description: Accounts Payable Specialists are valuable members of our health care team who work to provide appropriate corporate support necessary to an effective operation using the philosophy, objectives, and policies of this facility.

About us: Magnolia Health Systems is a skilled nursing facility located in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Magnolia Health Systems is seeking a Payroll and HR Coordinator to become a part of our team where our primary goal is to provide exceptional care for our residents. 

About the Role: Magnolia Health Systems is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to-

• Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness
• Enter and code invoices into the accounting system
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation
• Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers
• Schedule and ensure timely payments to vendors
• Reconcile discrepancies and resolve vendor issues
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment status
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and statements
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare reports and summaries as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

About you: The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous accounts payable or accounting experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Basic math and computer proficiency
• Strong communication skills with vendors and internal teams
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• High level of integrity and reliability
