DuTrac Community Credit Union is accepting applications for the position of Building and Grounds Maintenance Technician.
This position requires strong background in general building and property maintenance. History of working with contractors and maintenance partners in conjunction with company branch and department managers is key to the success of this position. This position is Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
Essential functions and responsibilities:
Responsible for the preventative and re-active maintenance of all credit unions properties and facilities to ensure that buildings and services are of the required standard and provide a safe working environment.
Candidates for this position should have a minimum of 8-10 years of similar experience in maintaining facilities and grounds. Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull materials and equipment up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally more weight with assistance, frequent standing, bending, stooping, walking, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead, using, and climbing ladders, stairs, and scaffolding. Use of hand and power tools requiring manual dexterity and grip strength. Ability to operate maintenance equipment (snow blowers, shovels, leaf blowers). Must be able to visually inspect equipment, gauges, computer screens, blueprints as well as work orders and other documents. Must have strong verbal and written communications. Work both indoors and outdoors will be required. Exposure to weather conditions, noise, dust, and other mechanical hazards (safety equipment provided). May require emergency evening and weekend response hours. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to show proof of insurability. Travel between locations is required.
