The WaitStaff Team, Inc. (TWST – pronounced "Twist") is hiring catering event staff for the busy 2026 season! Work with an incredible team at private events ranging from elegant weddings to intimate celebrations, featuring cuisines from around the world—East Indian, Mediterranean, Italian, Latin, and more!

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide top-tier hospitality and customer service at catered events.
  • Set up, serve food and beverages, and assist with event clean-up.
  • Follow high-end service etiquette (we’ll train if needed).
  • Work closely with our event leads to ensure a seamless experience.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must be able to drive and have reliable transportation (events are at various locations).
  • Physically capable: Lift up to 40 lbs, stand, walk, and move for 6-8 hours.
  • Professional appearance: Clean, polished, and event-appropriate attire.
  • Strong communication skills: Ability to interact professionally with guests, clients, and teammates.
  • Attention to detail: Ensure service meets high standards for presentation and timing.
  • Ability to follow direction & adapt: Take guidance from leads and adjust to different event settings.
  • Punctual & reliable: Events run on strict timelines—being on time is crucial.
  • Food safety awareness: Oregon and Washington Food Handlers Cards required or willingness to obtain before working.
  • Alcohol service knowledge (if applicable): OLCC permit or willingness to obtain (for those interested in bartending roles).
