Job Description

Build life-changing technology in a precision cleanroom

Join MPE and help bring advanced medical technology to life. We design, engineer, and manufacture solutions that improve patient outcomes worldwide. In this role, you’ll complete final assemblies of medical carts and enclosures to exacting quality and production standards.

A day in this role

At 6:00 AM, you step into our climate- and particulate-controlled environment and gear up with proper PPE. You ground yourself to meet ESD protocols and enter an ISO Class 5 cleanroom where precision matters. With mechanical drawings and detailed work instructions in hand, you:

  • Wire, solder, and perform electrical testing on medical device assemblies and sub-assemblies
  • Use precision torque tools to build to specification
  • Shift between electrical duties and mechanical final assembly/sub-assembly based on line demand
  • Verify parts, perform quality checks, and may double-check another assembler’s work to standard
  • Follow safety rules consistently, including ESD controls and PPE requirements
  • Troubleshoot equipment and build issues as they arise
  • Maintain a 6S work area through disciplined housekeeping

Growth path

Advance through defined certifications to Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Team Member Level Two and Level Three. Each level requires a minimum of six months of training, prior certification completion, and approval from the Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Team Lead.

What you bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of electrical assembly experience
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings/blueprints
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools; consistent quality checks

Physical and mental demands

  • Regular use of hand and power tools; assembly of very small components
  • Read and follow directions and blueprints
  • Close and color vision; ability to read; lift up to 50 lbs

Schedule & pay

  • First Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday–Friday
  • Compensation: $20–$24 per hour
