Brief Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
(Incumbent of position is a member of DFS’ Disaster Response Team and, in that capacity, may be required on short notice to perform duties and necessary attendant travel in support of disaster relief efforts.)
This is a highly responsible professional position that provides technical and administrative support by independently conducting research, analysis and investigations of insurance industry business practices to determine compliance with the Florida Insurance Code and providing recommendations and regulatory solutions to management.
Minimum Qualifications for this position include the following REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

The annual salary for this position is $50,000
Employees of the Office of Insurance Regulation are paid on a monthly pay cycle.
This is a non-remote on-site position located in Tallahassee, FL.
Preference will be given to applicants with one or more years of proven work experience in insurance. Applicants' resumes should reflect this experience.
