Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

Location: Rhode Island
Setting: Remote/Telehealth
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 a year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide full-time virtual therapy services for Rhode Island clients. This position involves helping clients work through mental health concerns, understand patterns affecting their daily lives, and develop practical tools for long-term wellness. You will manage therapy sessions, clinical documentation, and treatment planning in a professional telehealth environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual counseling sessions through a secure online platform
• Assess client needs, symptoms, and personal goals
• Create treatment plans that support measurable improvement
• Provide ongoing support for emotional, behavioral, and life-related challenges
• Review progress and make clinical adjustments as needed
• Document all services according to company and regulatory standards
• Respond appropriately to client risk or crisis concerns
• Maintain ethical, confidential, and professional care practices

Requirements

• Active Rhode Island LMHC license in good standing
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
• Experience providing therapy or counseling services
• Strong understanding of assessments, treatment planning, and documentation
• Strong communication and time management skills
