What you’ll be doing

1. Cut, grind, and prepare meats for sale
2. Adhere to all HACCP requirements
3. Follow all sanitation and cleaning procedures to ensure food safety
4. Use USDA rules, regulations and guidelines
5. Open and close the market
6. Wait on customers
7. Run the cash register
8. Fill and organize cases and displays throughout the day
9. Prepare and package other bulk goods for sale
10. Slice and package deli meats and cheeses

Skills you’ll bring along

1. Previous experience as meat cutter preferred
2. Precious experience with USDA rules and regulations
3. Great customer service skills
4. Communication skills
5. Able to work in a team environment but also able to work independently
6. Detail oriented
7. Lift and/or move 10 to 30 pounds
8. SafeServ certification – can provide training if you don’t have it

Pay: $17/hour

Job Type

1. Full time position
2. Monday through Friday
3. 7:00am to 3:30pm
