### **About Pecan POS**

Pecan POS develops modern point-of-sale (POS) and payment software for hospitality businesses, including restaurants, cafés, and bars. Our platform supports order management, payment processing, reporting, and integrations, with a strong focus on reliability and performance in real-time transaction environments.

### **Role Overview**

We are seeking a detail-oriented **QA Tester** to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. This role focuses on manual testing, identifying defects, and working closely with development and product teams to deliver a seamless user experience.

### **Key Responsibilities**

* Execute test cases and test scenarios based on requirements
* Perform manual, regression, and exploratory testing
* Identify, document, and track bugs using tools such as Jira
* Validate web and mobile application functionality
* Assist in API testing using tools like Postman
* Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
* Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and reviews
* Ensure software meets quality standards before release

### **Requirements**

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
* 0–2 years of experience in QA or software testing
* Strong understanding of manual testing processes
* Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
* Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman)
* Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Good communication and teamwork abilities

### **Preferred Qualifications**

* Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
* Familiarity with SQL or database validation
* Experience testing web or SaaS applications
