Provide technical leadership in field operations, including conducting high-fidelity water diagnostics, executing static and dynamic compatibility testing (e.g., scale bottle testing, friction reducers flow loop testing, microbial analysis), and rapidly troubleshooting Friction Reducer applications when performance fails to meet expectations. Conduct analyses of sub-par performance to determine potential contributing factors such as temperature, TDS variability, pressure, microbial activity, and scaling tendencies. Present high-stakes technical documentation, including performance optimization reports and customer-facing recommendations, while maintaining the ability to defend complex chemical decisions to both internal stakeholders and external operators at the executive and field-engineer levels. 2. Experience with the chemistry of fracturing chemicals, water analysis and designing a holistic chemical program that effectively addresses technical challenges and presents an economic return to the client.
3. Experience with fracturing operations and data analytics to plan, execute, and optimize hydraulic fracturing treatments to enhance fracturing times and hydrocarbon recovery from oil and gas reservoirs, and minimize emissions, including the technical aspects of frac design, pump schedules, proppant, casing size, well length, flow pad and fluid selection, and on-site coordination with service providers.
4. Experience with advanced laboratory instrumentation and analytical techniques, including ICP, DSL, FTIR, XRD, XRF, FR flow loops, and spectrophotometers, to ensure the generation of precise and reliable test results.
5. Experience employing advanced predictive modeling tools, such as the ScaleSoft Pitzer program, to assess and forecast scaling risks in complex brine systems and support the development of highly targeted scale mitigation strategies.
6. Experience applying AMPP (formerly NACE) standards for corrosion and scale control to ensure industry-compliant, technically sound solutions across diverse production/completion environments.
7. Experience with chemical pumping equipment to ensure the accurate and efficient delivery of treatment chemicals during oilfield operations, particularly in hydraulic fracturing and water treatment applications.
