Job Description

We are seeking three dedicated individuals for a 3-month labor project involving ship cleaning at the PSNS in Bremerton. This role involves general support duties on the ship, including assisting in painting, minor repairs, sanding parts, and using light hand and power tools to fix ship components. Responsibilities also include ship cleanup, sweeping, and other light cleaning tasks.

• Assist in painting and performing minor repairs on the ship.
• Sand parts and use light hand and power tools as necessary.
• Conduct ship cleanup, sweeping, and other light cleaning duties.
• Support in cleaning up abrasive grit and other general labor tasks.

• Experience with needle guns, labor tasks, and firewatch.
• Proficient in general labor, sanding, light power tool usage, and touch-up painting on ships.
• Ability to perform sweeping and cleaning efficiently.

• Experience working on ships or recent projects on a similar base is advantageous for easier badge access.

The work schedule is from 5 PM to 1 AM, Monday through Friday, with potential 8-hour shifts on Saturdays, totaling 40-hour weeks. The role is a 1-month contract with a focus on cleaning out tanks. This position requires work in a shipyard environment and involves physical labor in potentially confined spaces.

This is a Contract position based out of Bremerton, WA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Bremerton,WA.
