Job Description

$26–$32 per hour, depending on experience. Full-time, Monday–Friday, in-office schedule . Full benefits included (medical, dental, vision, PTO, and more).

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join a specialty infusion pharmacy team in Kent, WA . The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, labeling, and dispensing sterile medications while ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accurately compound and prepare sterile intravenous (IV) admixtures following aseptic technique and USP <797> guidelines.

  • Assist the Pharmacist in coordinating and scheduling sterile medication preparation.

  • Perform calculations for product preparation and obtain Pharmacist validation before mixing.

  • Maintain proper documentation, including batch records, lot numbers, and expiration dates.

  • Prepare medication labels, prescriptions, and compounding worksheets.

  • Ensure all cleanroom and compounding areas, equipment, and tools are properly sanitized and maintained.

  • Pick and pull inventory supplies for compounding and dispensing.

  • Participate in quality improvement activities and department meetings.

  • Adhere to accreditation standards and all applicable regulations, including OSHA, FDA, and state/federal requirements.

  • Collect and relay patient supply inventories to the Pharmacist as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of sterile compounding experience required.

  • Active Pharmacy Technician License in Washington (required).

  • Strong understanding of aseptic technique and sterile compounding procedures.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining precision and compliance.
