Janitor

We are currently seeking a Janitor to join our team in New Paltz, NY. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are clean, orderly, and well-maintained.


The ideal candidate will have practice in janitorial work, be highly motivated, and have excellent attention to detail. This is a full-time position that pays $17 per hour.


Janitor General Requirements:

»High school diploma or equivalent

»Previous practice in janitorial work preferred

»Good communication and interpersonal expertise

» capability to work independently and as part of a team

»Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings

»Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds


Janitor Responsibilities:

»Clean and maintain assigned areas, including restrooms, offices, and common areas

»Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, and empty trash bins

»Clean windows and mirrors

»Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment

»Keep inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment

»Notify management of any necessary repairs or maintenance needs

»Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe work environment
