Middle School English Teacher

Location: Wuxi, China
Start Date: August 2026

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Middle School English Teacher to join a well-established international school in Wuxi. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality English language instruction and support students in developing strong academic literacy, communication skills, and critical thinking abilities.

Key Responsibilities
Teach Middle School English (reading, writing, speaking, and literature)
Design engaging and differentiated lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback
Maintain an effective and well-managed classroom environment
Support students’ academic progress and language development
Participate in school meetings, events, and professional development activities
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and teaching quality
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above (English, Education, Linguistics, or related field)
Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience
Valid teaching license/certification preferred (PGCE / QTS / TEFL / CELTA or equivalent)
Must have complete work visa documentation eligibility
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Native English speaker preferred
Experience in international or bilingual school settings is an advantage
Preferred Attributes
Familiarity with international curricula (IB / IGCSE / A-Level / American curriculum)
Ability to support diverse learners in a multicultural classroom
Team-oriented, responsible, and adaptable educator
