Compensation: $90 per Initial Assessment | $75 per Reassessment

Comfort Keepers is currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing home health care team in Southern Ocean County. Position Overview

The Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) will provide professional nursing oversight for home care clients by conducting assessments, creating individualized care plans, completing supervisory visits, and collaborating with caregivers, families, physicians, and healthcare professionals. The RN will help ensure all care is delivered safely, compassionately, and in compliance with agency and state regulations.

RN Responsibilities

• Conduct initial client nursing assessments and ongoing reassessments
• Develop, implement, and update personalized care plans
• Perform caregiver supervisory visits and competency evaluations
• Monitor client health conditions and communicate status changes
• Educate caregivers, clients, and families on care needs and safety
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and compliance records
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, social workers, and healthcare teams
• Support quality assurance and continuity of care initiatives
• Participate in on-call nursing support as needed

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Home care, home health, hospice, geriatrics, or senior care experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
• Knowledge of state home care regulations and documentation standards
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
