General Description:
As a sheetrock finisher, your duties will include sealing joints, repairing cracks, and smoothing imperfections on walls and ceilings to create surfaces that are suitable for final treatment. You should also ensure that all supplies are used safely.
Core Duties/Responsibilities:
Prepare panels for painting by taping or finishing joints.
Smooth out imperfections.
Screw panels to wood framework.
Fill joints in-between panels with mud.
Use trowels to spread mud.
Cover nail and screw depressions with mud.
Apply second and third coats of compound.
