Are you ready to help launch one of Chicago’s most innovative sushi dining experiences in Logan Square? Jinsei Motto, a renowned Japanese sushi restaurant, is reopening, and we're looking for amazing people to join our team across all back of house positions. This is your chance to work with a friendly, energetic group at a restaurant that values creativity, quality, and work life balance.

Jinsei Motto began in Chicago’s West Loop, where it quickly gained acclaim as part of the vanguard of a “new sushi wave”. Being well known for pioneering in-house dry-aged seafood for sushi, we are celebrated for unlocking unparalleled flavors and textures through this technique, using multiple custom dry aging chambers (the largest program of its kind in Chicago). 

Now, as we reopen in Logan Square, we bring the same dedication to quality and innovation to a bigger stage. Seasonality and the finest ingredients guide our menu, which includes live fire cooking in our wood oven and grill. This commitment to excellence has made Jinsei Motto one of Chicago’s premier sushi destinations, blending time-honored Japanese tradition with modern culinary creativity.

We are hiring for all positions as we build our opening team. Whether you have years of experience or are eager to learn, we have a role for you:

• Sushi Chefs and Sushi Cooks (learn and master the art of dry-aged sushi preparation)
• Line Cooks (working with prime ingredients and wood-fire cooking)
